I can't get over how good this album is. Between this and Helion Prime (and Wisdom coming out next week!), it's going to be really, really tough for anything else to break into my top 3 for the year. And it's only mid-February.

I really, really enjoy these guys. Saw them open for Freedom Call a few months ago in Stockholm. Great energy, awesome stage presence. They remind me a bit of Holy Grail, my buddies back in Los Angeles, so that's my best comparison.

I may go to this show tomorrow, but I'm really only interested in Serious Black. Gamma Ray may very well be my least favorite power metal band. I just cannot stand Kai Hansen's voice. It's so grating.

I'm the biggest power metal fan I know. And I'm also the only power metal fan I know who isn't that into Dragonforce or Blind Guardian. That said, I'm still VIPing the shit out of this midweek lineup (if/when we get information about it).
