I don't know the rules around here about posting single songs, so please delete if I've violated anything, but I'd imagine some people here would really, really enjoy this.

Early song-of-the-year candidate for me:

They're coming out of Sacramento, CA and their debut album comes out in mid-February. Absolutely already shortlisting for immediate purchase and this is a band I'll be following closely. Reminds me of older Unleash the Archers mixed with Vandroya's vocals mixed with a bit of Mindmaze (and then I saw the guitarist of Mindmaze played the solo, so that makes sense). I hate comparing female-fronted bands to other female-fronted bands, but that's about the best comparison I have right now. Very impressive song.

That cover is awful! It makes the worst cover list easily, top 10.
The music is decent, but the vocal harmonies are a major distraction.
I'll pass

And for those who like harsh female vocals, they released this live video:

I'm scared at how much I enjoy them already. The last time I got into a band this quickly was Noble Beast and I legit binged them all of 2014.

I do think the selected music I've heard this year (Cloudscape, Avantasia, Helion Prime, Wisdom's single, Holy Grail's single) is already better than almost everything I heard in 2015. Albeit 2015 was the weakest year in power metal, in my opinion, in a very long time.

I bought this from Divebomb and it is awesome. One of my favorite from 2016. The artwork is a bit different but I like it. it's an amazing cd, the only thing that's sucks about them is Heather is no longer with them. I have not heard enough of the new girl to decide if I like her voice. Time will tell.
