    Anthems - Missing Covers?

Thanks for the clarification on that, I guess I'll just keep looking for the other ones. I saw the Cheap Trick one on Ebay right after they came out, should've picked it up then. Oh well.

    Anthems - Missing Covers?

Hey, I've managed to get 4 out of the 6 (or 7) covers for Anthems, but I haven't been able to locate the Thin Lizzy or Cheap Trick covers yet, and I'd like to try and find them online. Only problem is that Amazon and Ebay seem to only list a generic cover, so you never know what you're...

    Chicago Show!!!!!

That's interesting...when I was researching it the last few days, it always said 6:30. Was planning on getting there at 5:30 anyway. Good for Anthrax for selling out the show, I screwed up by waiting on tickets, ended having to get one from a guy online and ended up paying 100 for it after...

    Big 4 DVD....

If you download the bootleg that's out there, and compare it with the DVD, you can tell Mustaine's vocals are improved a bit. But to be fair, EVERYONE on the DVD has a studio credit at the end, where they "polished" their sound up. Anthrax's was some studio in LA I think, I can't remember...

So what's the state of play with new record?

In that "One last shot" video that was posted in the main page, they talk about the new album, and Scott says "Fight 'em Till you can't" is basically done, and they've also got two other songs they're working on now "I'm Alive" and "Earth on Hell", which they did at least once or twice with Dan...

    Screwed on Head Bangers Ball

I don't buy that shit at all. KK may very well have been busy editing, but if he was close enough to the stage to have "just missed" them going out there, why the fuck wasn't he in the picture at the end? Also, Anthrax played "Am I Evil?" at their solo show the night before, to try it out, so...

    Big 4 on DVD/Blu-ray

Yeah, there is, I've got it. It's about 8.4 Gigs in 720p. I'm waiting on the Bluray though, since it's supposed to be the whole concert, unedited. I know Anthrax had at least 2 songs cut, Slayer and Megadeth had 3 each, and Metallica cut about 6.

Cool shirt Joey was wearing yesterday

Can someone explain the shirt? I know it's the Not Man, but I don't get the initials and the writing above it.

Should they have these songs in their set anymore?

Actually, I think Joey could do pretty well on Only. It's not like it's Hy Pro Glo or something.

    A message on Blabbermouth...

Whether they were miserable or not, I can't say. But the reunion tour did NOT end because of that, it ended because Joey didn't want to tour anymore without recording new material. They were offered the opening slot on the Heaven & Hell tour, and had to give it up, because Joey wouldn't play any...

Anthrax, things that never happened Vol 1.

If it's not my favorite Anthrax song, it's in the top 3.

Now it's Dark? What happened to it?

Hey, I just finally got around to picking up TGOTE, and I remembered that Anthrax was going to play 18 songs for the album. Well, TGOTE has 14 tracks, add one for Lone Justice (BAD ASS!), and then the two others on the import version. 17 tracks. So compare this with the listing that was...

    Music of Massive compression artifacts?

Yup, progressive scan. And while there are some shots in there that are done on purpose, what I'm talking about is definitely NOT on purpose. There's nothing artistic about John's head and Charlie's drumset ending up blocky as hell. Basically, nothing I think is specifically Anthrax's fault...

    Music of Massive compression artifacts?

I hate to make this post, because Anthrax is easily my favorite band, and has been for 10 years. But, I feel it should be stated. I bought MOMD today, and am ecstatic about my purchase. This concert in Chicago was great. Audio wise, this is probably one the top 5 sounding live cd's I've ever...
