    Responsive Orchestral elements

Hi im working on some rather elaborated metal with alot of orchestral arrangements and I need a few tips on what libraries offer good string, trombone, trumpet sections that are very responsive, most libraries I have tested are limited to swelling orchestral sections which just makes it all...

    Went for that epic feeling

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1520413/Conquer%20All%20Guitars.JPG The guitars are very similar to this. Double tracked. Theres a little bit of a Guitar Rig signal mixed in there aswell, barely audible, it just adds a bit of a saturated tone, just to bring out some of the harmonics better.

    I did a mashup.

I make very different music than this but I'll tell you what I would do. The changes that come to my mind when I hear this is. Vocals: Vocals are too dry, sounds very in your face compared to the rest of the mix. I would add some slight reverb and eq down some of 2-4khz and boost slightly at...

The drivers are Asio Saffire, not Asio4All. I run Pro 40 under Win7 64bit, Set firewire latency to short and you can go down to 64 buffer size if you'd like (Settings accessible trough Focusrite MixControl)

    Time for SSD

So I have been resisting the urge for some time now but I guess I'm jumping on the SSD train aswell. Some samples are just THAT good. My question is, which EX would you recommend for someone that almost entirely use samples for metal? Thinking about the SSD + 2 EX offer. So name 2...
