Hi im working on some rather elaborated metal with alot of orchestral arrangements and I need a few tips on what libraries offer good string, trombone, trumpet sections that are very responsive, most libraries I have tested are limited to swelling orchestral sections which just makes it all sound so delayed.

So please give me a few tips and share some of your experiences with different plugins and libraries.

WtCSF was mostly tracked in the studio. You want a good orchestral sound, you either pay for the full VSL package or multi-track a cello if you're on a budget.

Edit: To be a bit more detailed, the best combination of libraries I can think of would be the new VSL Dimension Strings + EWQL Hollywood Brass. That should pretty much cover you until you want to get really serious about your orchestral elements, where again I suggest looking into tracking real musicians. It's a lot cheaper than you'd think.
