Some really good stuff in here! I haven't seen anyone recommend Insomnium, although I daresay you've already listened to them. They're not as speedy as Kalmah, but their melodies are incredible. +1 for Ensiferum and Wintersun (Jari Maenpaa ftw :D)

Yes! More Amon Amarth :D If it's anything like their last two albums, it will be insane. It'd be good if they released an extended edition of the album with a few of their old tracks. 'Abandoned' would be amazing if it was redone, just becuase the quality on their old stuff wasn't the greatest.

Now that's a little controversial :P It's definitely better than Nu Metal and metalcore, but that's probably not to controversial considering most people here would shun those genres (with good reason too).

Hmm, I guess not, but would it be controversial if I said it beats every genre except for metal? And even then, it's better than some metal. It's easily better than classic rock, modern rock, all pop music and country music.
