Looking for feedback on a metalcore mix.

Need some advice and criticism on drums/bass
I've been trying to get punchy drums and bass. I really just started on this mix, I haven't even gotten to the guitars yet but I thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and get some opinions on the drums and bass by themselves. I'm using all Slate samples and POD Farm for the Bass tone...- Anuva95

How in the world do I make this band better?
Just send them a "rough mix" without edited guitars, don't mention how bad/sloppy the guitar playing is. Let the guitarist hear it for himself and the rest of the band can point out his terrible playing themselves. :lol: But if you absolutely cannot edit the guitars, and these guys are paying...
