This is awesome news. I toyed with the idea of going to see Queensryche at the Beacon, but probably wasn't going to go. Ironically the other day I searched and searched the web to see who is the opening act and since I couldn't find any info I was pretty much going to blow off this show. BUT...

I love and am currently listening to TDWOT, but V is my favorite SX release. A side bar to mention is that V was the first thing I got from SX. Anyway, to me V is not only my favorite SX release, it's in my top 10 of all time favorite releases by anyone.

On my way to work this morning, while listenning to SX's Odyssey I stopped at a traffic light. There were two vehicles in front of me, in the left lane a Toyota Sienna Symphony and in the right lane a Honda Odyssey. Silly, but it made me smile. :p

This is fantastic news. I'm popping in my "Tyranny" CD now. FYI - I like the vocals and find it to be a great fit with the music. Are they looking for a label deal? I read a while ago that they ended their relations with "Magna Carta" - don't know for sure, but as their web site now states...

They were tremendous. The set list kicked major ass. Everyone was on. Russell in particular, with virtually no room on stage, was giving it his all - amazing vocals and stage presence. My stand-out song was "Awakenings." So incredibly tight. At the end of the night, I bumped into Michael...

It's no way near my top fave Shadow Gallery songs, but I like "Colors" and all of "Legacy." As posted above, I too am now popping in my CD. I also enjoy his vocals overall a lot.
