Can Lighting behind SX on stage be removed?

Hello Everyone, It's been a long time since I posted here. I'm a big SX fan and can't wait to see them again in April at The Clubhouse in Tempe, AZ. However, last year when they played here, the club had the worst stage lighting pretty much ruining the event. Basically, there were spot...

Symphony X to tour with Queensryche

This is awesome news. I toyed with the idea of going to see Queensryche at the Beacon, but probably wasn't going to go. Ironically the other day I searched and searched the web to see who is the opening act and since I couldn't find any info I was pretty much going to blow off this show. BUT...

V - The new Mythology Suite

I love and am currently listening to TDWOT, but V is my favorite SX release. A side bar to mention is that V was the first thing I got from SX. Anyway, to me V is not only my favorite SX release, it's in my top 10 of all time favorite releases by anyone.

    SX and mini vans

On my way to work this morning, while listenning to SX's Odyssey I stopped at a traffic light. There were two vehicles in front of me, in the left lane a Toyota Sienna Symphony and in the right lane a Honda Odyssey. Silly, but it made me smile. :p

Shadow Gallery: New Album coming soon¡¡¡¡

This is fantastic news. I'm popping in my "Tyranny" CD now. FYI - I like the vocals and find it to be a great fit with the music. Are they looking for a label deal? I read a while ago that they ended their relations with "Magna Carta" - don't know for sure, but as their web site now states...

THE 2003 METAL GODS TOUR: Lineup Announced!

Here's a post from Halford's Manager from the Halford message board: "I'll quickly confirm that "Symphony X" did ask off of the tour yesterday. They have cited work in Europe and forthcoming writing sessions as being the cause for their departure.:

Metal Gods tour not happening with SyX

I am disappointed that they are off the tour for selfish reasons (I just love seeing them) however I will still be attending the Metal Gods tour.

SymX setlist with Halford 2/28 **SPOILERS**

They were tremendous. The set list kicked major ass. Everyone was on. Russell in particular, with virtually no room on stage, was giving it his all - amazing vocals and stage presence. My stand-out song was "Awakenings." So incredibly tight. At the end of the night, I bumped into Michael...

Shadow Gallery - "Colors" might be the wussiest song ever made

The beauty about music is that is our appreciation is all opinion-driven. I happen to LOVE "Hope for Us" - one of my favorite (and yet most depressing) SG song. In fact, that song is VERY special to me as it helped me get through the most horrific time of my life - a time when I felt there was...

Shadow Gallery - "Colors" might be the wussiest song ever made

It's no way near my top fave Shadow Gallery songs, but I like "Colors" and all of "Legacy." As posted above, I too am now popping in my CD. I also enjoy his vocals overall a lot.
