I was gonna say a boosted JCM800 or a modded one (since I knew you had one). Sounds good man, not my personal taste but very nice and chunky. I'd imagine blending it with a more saturated amp like an Uberschall or 5150 would sound quite nice.

Like others have said, the sound has nothing to do with pickup type. The closer the pickup gets to the center of the strings (eg. 12th fret), the more of the fundamental note you hear. The closer to the bridge a pickup is, the more harmonics you hear. Same goes for picking. This explains why...

Nah I'm more into stuff like the Uberschall, Mesa Mark Series, Diezels, etc...The SLO100 sounds better than either the 5150 or Dual Recto to me, its just more "crisp" sounding.
