I don’t do any tricks. I just change one string at a time, tune by ear, stretch the shit out of them, play them, tune, stretch, repeat a few times until it begins to stabilize. All with the nut unlocked. Then I’ll let it sit for an hour or so and come back and repeat stretch, tune, etc until...

Haha oh mannnn I used to be sooooo into this genre when I was like 17. I thought my band would be the next NOFX or something. Haha! Boy, did that scene sure rise and fall quickly.

I’ve got a Little Labs Redeye (older model) and I’ve compared the Redeye into my Profire 2626 vs the Profire instrument input and I can’t hear a difference. Like said above - you already have options. Try them out and see what you prefer.

Fuuuuuck. I literally have the same set that I was about to throw on my 7 string because I couldn't find a D'Addario set with the gauges I wanted. And my 707's are muddy as hell to begin with......sigh.

Hmmm I’ve had a pack of Boomers laying around that I was gonna throw on my 7 but now I’m second guessing it. Anyone ever try these? Apparently they “won’t break or rust”, or you get a replacement set for free.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Great game. Still early access and a little buggy. Haven’t ever played a game that gets my blood pumping like this one does.

At least you can identify your problem areas. When I sweep around for annoying frequencies, it just seems EVERY thing sounds bad. I have a very hard time picking out what’s good/bad.
