I saw a Van Halen tribute band Jump when they came out to tour Australia recently. I thought they were really good. Are there any currently active tribute bands that you'd recommend going to see?

Looks like the lord.net.au domain registration lapsed and has possibly been registered by another party :( The whois is showing a domain investment company as the owner (or they just registered it under a pseudonym from now on?).

How do you guys find out about upcoming tours? I just randomly checked the Alestorm site and saw they are touring next year, which is one I'd definitely go to. I used to use the big / local tours thread from that other forum to keep up to date, but that doesn't exist any more.
