I saw the Melvins try to open for Gwar. Their first song, the guitar was set in front of the amps and left to feedback... really? Eventually someone in the crowd started tossing firecrackers on stage. They played their set and then Gwar told them to play an encore. That's pretty metal...

I think that was actually the song Hungry For Heaven on Sacred Heart that the band wanted him to keep.. I could be wrong, but it's been a long time since I read about it.

I think it's released in June... too damn far away. I'd rather them not have clean vocals, too many bands bounce between clean and harsh now with gals in it (IMO). Keep my ArchAngela..err Arch Enemy heavy and nasty.

Saw them on the To Hell With The Devil tour with Loudness & TNT. Great show. If they sound anything at all like their new album I'd go in a heartbeat.
