    Thanks, that helps. The stiffness is also the point that's distracting me on the Titans. How's the tightness of the Evo compared to the Titans? I need a super tight lowend.

    How would you compare the Evolution to the Titans? I also own the Titans (will post a snippet soon) and I'm not pretty sure if I'll keep them. They are pretty dry and tight, but also a bit stiff and I'm missing something in the sound.

    May I recommend one of my projects? Euphoreon: http://www.euphoreon.com/ We received pretty good reviews and were often compared to the first Wintersun album. Even though I think we're not doing quite the same music.

    Selling my "Event 2030" 3-way monitors. In August, they get 3 years old. Working fine. Just switched to some smaller and more mobile monitors. Thinking about 699€ for both. Located in Germany but can be shipped in Europe. Pictures can be found here...

    That's because active pickups deliver a low-impedance signal and are nearly not influenced by anything the has an impact on the signal level like long cables, low-ohm-inputs, etc.... This problem only exists with passive pickups which delive a signal with high impedance.

    You shouldn't use the passive DI-Box with 220k for recording passive pickups. You will loose transients/highs. 1MOhm is the minimum you should use.

    Thanks. I don't have any problems with the Kemper. I just like to test new gear from time to time. I have a Countryman Type 10 as backup but perhaps I could replace the backup with the digilab :) And it would be cool to have some russian gear here at home :)

    Thanks for the info. Did you ever had the chance to compare it against the DI of the Kemper? That's the one I'm currently using.
