Yeah it's killer. Who knew getting rid of Wichers would lead to their best album in a decade? Those Scarve guys also seem to add some much needed technicality and balls to their sound.

I'm 26 and I stopped with most the cultural aspects (long hair, band shirts) around 23-4. But I love the music more than ever. My tastes have changed a lot since then (more variety of music mostly), but I don't think I'll ever stop listening to metal.

And this one doesn't really go with the other three, but I've been loving it.

I'm feeling more and more this way myself. That said, I did just get a record player in the summer so I still see myself buying the occasional vinyl, but it won't be the main way I acquire new music.

Bandcamp is great. I only wish it worked better on mobile devices. I've had issues where streams stop after each song, requiring me to skip to the next song, or streams of individual songs don't seem to work at all. It works great on my desktop though.

I haven't used Spotify because it's not available in Canada. Our options are more limited up here. MOG and Pandora are also not available here either. I've tried Rdio and Songza, but arguably Songza serves a different purpose than all-you-can-eat style streaming services. I noticed Rdio hasn't...

26. Just realized I've been coming to this website off and on since I was 17. In Internet years I'm ancient.

So after a year of working at the same place and getting screwed out of a raise when I was promoted/moved to a new role previously, I am now finally on payroll (not on contract), with a raise, and benefits. It's still not a whole lot ($30k including the benefits package) but it is moving up...

Disagree. Their sound is refreshing modern death metal. I love the old school stuff as much as the next guy, but it all doesn't have to sound that way.
