Got a mention in the TotalRock news: NO VISIBLE ALBUM Acclaimed young British band Area 54 have bought back the rights to their debut album, 'No Visible Scars' - but only to delete it. Once the current pressing is sold out, that's it. There will be no further copies available.

Agree with Dan up to a point, you can hear the quality of the songs despite the production - as I've said many times it's the worst Simon Efemy job I've heard. As for the artwork, well, I don't judge a book by the cover (although some people will) and I've certainly seen worse. But I can see...

Think I've come down with a cold. Which is a bit of a bummer. On the plus side, on bit of a high after seeing Dio last night. He may look like Gollum (and possibly be as old as him too) but there can't be many vocalists out there who are that good.

Very burple. Is this a taster of things to come with the new album?

Today is obviously far better than yesterday, due to it being Saturday and not having to get up and go to work at an early hour.

I'd also like to say hello to me. So "hello to me". As for this strange Hunipy person... well, I suppose you can have a hello too.

Steve is indeed the bad boy of the band. Although this may be a plot by the rest of the band to appear angelic in comparison... But cool clips anyway.

I must add that I haven't heard the new records by Opeth or Paradise Lost yet, which may well be worth listening to (although possibly not all that good when those suicidal tendencies are about...)

Congratulations on being that little bit closer to a bus pass Rob. I'd suggest having a celebratory tipple, but I'm sure you don't need any encouragement :)

To be honest, I haven't found much that was really good this year. Top album has been Alien by Strapping Young Lad, possibly the most complete album by SYL to date. Runner up, Party Animals by Turbonegro, honourable mention to Judas Priest and Angel of Retribution (if it didn't lose steam...

Tomas looks like he should be in a band like The Hellacopters, rather than At The Gates... but that's those crazy Scandanavians for you ;)

This even gets a mention in the new Metal Hammer (page 18 for all of you who pop into the newsies for a crafty peek) - even if it is just a mention.
