I'd lay off the reverb on the vocal a little bit, but then again thats just preference. The balance seems fine though. Sounds very early maiden. Like it. The drums sound messed up, not on your part I don't think, they just sound like the drummer doesn't know the song or something :p

I'd bring guitars up in the mix, take cymbals down on the drums. Looking into Revalver MKIII and Overloud TH1/2 - both great for metal. Fiddle around with EQ. Take out everything below 80hz and maybe slight boost around 3/5khz. check out www.guitarampmodeling.com for presets and...

That is by no way a final mix. Just an idea down. It is four tracks, 2 for each guitar part. And I understand what you mean. I think my main problem is the guitar tone, it's very gainy and lacks clarity. Will just need to mess around with the tone. Thanks for the links
