Super pissed, derpin' in D-standard minisong

This is sick! Totally kicks ass! Do you always write your music by getting pissed off first? Cuz it fucking works!

New Electri6ity test - Metal Ballad in C(different ampsims soon!)

Sounds killer dude. A couple of the pitch bends in the beginning sound a little off, but overall this still sounds badass!

    Into the Darkness - Rock/Metal/Soundtrack/Progressive using Electri6ity

Thanks for the advice, dude. The drums are not real, they are Superior Drummer 2.0. I programmed them in PRV mode. I agree with the snare - I'll work on giving it more snap/attack. I thought the hats were decent, but I'll look at revisiting that. The song is supposed to be serious, not...

Drop G 'DeathMetal' Band that im Mixing/Recording!

No problem, man. Since you only have two guitar tracks to work with, you still may be able to thicken them up. Layer two tracks of track #1 hard left, then layer two tracks of track #2 hard right, and EQ them all differently. I've never tried it but it may work.

Drop G 'DeathMetal' Band that im Mixing/Recording!

How many tracks do you have for the guitars? Two? One hard left/one hard right? Try layering more guitar tracks to thicken them up (i.e. 2 hard left/2 hard right with different tones), then you don't need as much gain. I'm not a guitarist so you could take my advice and throw it out the...

Joey Sturgis, here you are a fast palm mute test with Electri6ity!

It sounds killer, Javi! Although, I think there are some tweaks that could be made yet to improve realism, but you also have to consider what kind of sound you are going after. There's nothing wrong with a little syntheticism (is that even a word?). In the stuff I'm writing w/Electri6ity, I'm...

Drop G 'DeathMetal' Band that im Mixing/Recording!

The mix seems well balanced, but I think you might need to tweak the master EQ. Overall it could be just a bit brighter. Great job with the mixing/recording so far dude.

    Into the Darkness - Rock/Metal/Soundtrack/Progressive using Electri6ity

I hate bumping shit, but I forgot to ask what everyone thought of the guitars? How's the tone and performance of them? Also, what about the mix? Does it sound well balanced? Enough low-end? I have to rework the guitar tracks and balance the mix of the other two songs I have on the album (so...

    More ambient metal!!

Awesome, dude! It sounds killer. I think the whole mix could be a bit brighter, though. Otherwise this is a fantastic piece of music. I write instrumental progressive rock/metal/soundtrack type stuff... it's not quite like this but I add ambience in my tunes as well.
