I loved everything Nightwish until the last two albums. I love Floor, but she is so underutilized! Century Child is my all time favorite NW album. It’s what got me into them. End of All Hope is one of my all time favorite songs as well.

I absolutely couldn’t agree with you more about Floor! She’s a beast and has fallen victim to crappy writing. The last two NW albums are sub-par, yes. ‍♂️

I loved Kingdom of Rock, but this one has fallen flat for me.

I openly admit that I'm a Jorn fanboy...my favorite material from him is the Masterplan debut and Out To Every Nation...no, Burn the Sun isn't my favorite. I do like that as well though.

This album simply kills! I've enjoyed the heck out of Fallen Empires, since hearing about it on this thread. Excellent metal!

I've tried and tried and tried, but I just can't get into this latest effort from Nightwish. I don't quite know what it is, but it just falls flat for me. I've loved everything this band has put out, including Anette's era, up to this point. Oh well, here's to their next album.
