By refurnish I mean, refitted his kit with Cymbals because we were suppose to be recording our EP this weekend. He's really hard on the cymbals and breaks about one a month.

Over dubs(Or a copied track) sound offset just a bit, with some some delay and reverb.

Thank you, The focusrite is perfect we need 8 channels. My old alesis board took a crap on me. But what can you expect.

Since I'm Pc, the Apogee is out for me. Rme looks like a dream; Although I was trying for under 1k, on a bit of a budget. If they all say their 24bit and 192khz; do the cheaper ones not stand up?

I'm trying to pick out a good fire wire based interface to run with cubase. Any suggestions? And what's the difference between them. What makes some better than others?
