I just read about it on Mikeportnoy.com... Was going to come here and spoil your surprise... but you beat me to it :notworthy Hehehe... I can't be there either but am VERY happy I get to see Redmeption and Enchant on the 24th anyway.... (and maybe Redemption on the 23rd)

What's sad about that is that if this were to take place in Europe, it would likely sell out a venue of 9000 !!!! Is the state of prog-metal THAT sad in the Western US ? (or in the US period) I know that it is sad here (Canadian Prairies) but in a major city like SF, one would expect that more...

Any idea on how ticket-sales are going for this event? I was expecting that they would be sold out fairly quickly... If id doesn't sell out, it would really tell something about the state of prog-metal in the Western-US...

I find the Bay-Fest naming thing incredibly confusing! There seem to be 2 festivals with different dates taking place and announcements/threads are made under the same heading.... Time to add dates to the thread-titles folks...
