I listened to Kezia for a month straight like an opium addict. Now Fortress is on constant rotation. I love this band. I like both albums equally. Kezia is fucking awesome, so is fortress.

My combo sounds fucking rad, with the stock sheffields. Apparently the heads were biased (cold) at 30-34ma? The combos were biased much hotter (correctly) at 44-46ma so right off the bat a combo is supposed to sound "right" whereas the heads did not... which is probably true, but even biased...

Good read! On my combo, I use the lead channel all the time. Pre on 3, and EQ at 6 6 6. I just arrived there after fiddling and didnt notice the knobs til later. Resonance is cranked and pres is around 5. I just use my guitar vol knob rolled way back to go "clean" and then twist it anywhere...
