My $20 earphone mix. Haha.

I tried to get similar to the album in the more rounded guitar tones that it has, while retaining a 'full' mix. Oh also, I'm kinda proud I just used a dry kit from superior and processed that like it was a natural drum kit with no added sample layering. Think it turned out okay.

Maybe if you use it excessively and rely on it to widen your mix, then mono compatibility would be non-existent, yes. But it's like flipping the phase on one of your overhead tracks to make it sound 'wider'. Lots of people do it, and in stereo it sounds great but it's really up to you whether...
