    Guilty Pleasures and Sissy Music

Atta boy, 8thPlague! Give'em hell! I like Vanessa Carlton too! I even bought the friggin' CD! She's got one hell of a voice. Patric, Hell yeah. I think every metalhead has rocked out to Talk Dirty To Me. I wouldnt call myself a Poison fan, but I like that song and know every word.

    Guilty Pleasures and Sissy Music

Awww..Guns and Roses doesn't count! They may not be death metal but they aren't a band that you want to hide your head in the sand about  I have an infatuation with 99 Red(Luft) Balloons by Nena. Wanna know how bad it is? I can sing it in German...and I dont speak German! Now THAT'S...

    Guilty Pleasures and Sissy Music

This thread was inspired by that hysterical metal commercial posted in another thread. For those who didnt see it, it shows a bunch of hardcore metalheads hanging out, all decked out in the spikes and what not, then all of them leave except one guy who puts on some pop music from a CD he has...

    Cutting The Hair

I had long hair from age 15 to 26. The last 5 years it was extremely long and full. I loved my hair, the girls loved it, all was well and good in the world. It's fun to headbang with long hair. Due to the business I am in it reached a point where in order to excel I needed to conform a...

What song on God Was Created is your favorite? POLL

She Never Noticed Me is my favorite. I really enjoy the album so it's hard to pick a second favorite. But I do like Fantasy From Pain quite a bit.

    Suggest some new thrash bands

Patric, that just kicked my ass. A very good cover of Slaughter the Soul. Even though I was a bit taken back when I first clicked on the link and saw the language the site was written in! Yikes! Luckily I stumbled my way to the "mp3" link and all was well. I keep hearing about Ill Disposed...

    Suggest some new thrash bands

Actually I do like At The Gates and Hypocrisy, so you're right about that! I dont know if I would call them thrash, though. Perhaps. I always considered them death metal. Never heard of Goatwhore although the name kills me. I'm diggin' Carnal Forge as well. It's incredible how much...

    Suggest some new thrash bands

You guys knew exactly what I was talking about. I checked out Darkane, Dew Scented and Carnal Forge. This is the kind of thrash I like. I've heard a few songs but I've heard enough to know their style. Thanks for the suggestions. It's been a nonstop thrash attack at my desk for the last...

Ok what are you Playlists right now?

I've been a little bit of a lunatic lately. I've gotten addicted to certain songs off a few CDs. Currently hanging around my desk... Death-Leprosy I had this on cassette and I wore it out. Since I got my hands on it again I can't stop listening to Pull the Plug. Children of Bodom-...

    new MONSTROSITY mp3 available

Well, this is my first time hearing Monstrosity and I like it. I have heard "of" them, but never heard them. Thanks for the link, good stuff. Like you said, it's straight forward death metal and they do it well. Someone looking for something a little more original or unusual might not care for...

    Vehemence-September 2003 Update

Wow, that just blew me away. I love the "deuling" vocals and the melody. There's a lot of emotion in that song. Very, very impressive. :kickass:

    Top 10 B-list

One of my favorites from that era was Demolition Hammer. I really enjoyed their brand of thrash. I still have their Skull Fracturing Nightmare demo tape laying around here somewhere. The band went on to put out a couple of very good albums, one not so good album and then poof.
