I actually think the brand new Dokken album is quite good, I was really digging the new song Empire, yes Don's voice is surely not able to reach the highs of his prime but at least on the recording it sounds good and Levins guitar work....honestly is KILLER!! great production too on the album...

Couldn't agree more here! I was blown away Cosmovision as well and this new one sounds tremendous as well! Great to see another amazing band from France recording melodic metal! Along with Heavenly I think this is my favorite band I've heard from the French metal scene!

I would say (IMHO) what many people enjoy about them has the be the singer's particularly great voice. Eriksen has a really smooth clean tenor with a lot of control and a tonal depth that has the same quality of other singers that are usually respected for having great expressive singing voices...
