I like the fact that the material is thick. I have plenty of shirts that are thin for the summer, but only Turisas and Tyr have shirts that I can wear during the winter.

The NYC show had many more people. I could barely hear what Nygard was saying, let alone anyone else. Nobody seemed to be paying much attention to Turisas to care about his beer woes. Tuisas is headlining in Poughkeepsie tonight. I will not be going. I am very sad.

No, I did not know that. Would have been nice if they had that on the package... This is why I'm part of the lighting, sound and stage crew rather than being an actual actor. Whatever. Was still an awesome show. Can't wait for them to headline here sometime.

So, found out at the venue that the Backstage paint wasn't water based. And I learned that grease paint sucks. It smeared like crazy (had to throw the hairspray away, they wouldn't allow it into the venue) with the slightest touch. I ended up only doing black lines and not painting my face red...

Just got home from the NYC show. Started in the 2nd row, got to the rail midway through Turisas set. Atmosphere was better than I expected. Forgot my camera at school, so no pics... Bought a shirt, but Turisas never came out to sign anything... Nygard got a Beck's, which he considered German...

I saw that video. whsmiths is not available in the US (or at least, I've never seen nor heard of it) So I just read the Backstage paint. Says that the red paint should not be used around the eyes. This is not good. Anyone know a reason this could be?

My friend went out and couldn't find Snazaroo anywhere so got "Backstage" brand face/body paint. I'm going to take a look at it this weekend.

ONLY face, neck chest and arms? what else is there? legs? Anyway, thanks for all the suggestions. It seems snazaroo is the most "legitimate" way. Unfortunately, it's about twice as expensive here in the US than in the UK. I can probobly find it on ebay for about the same price though.

I did a search and didn't find any thread for this. If there is then I apologize. For those that have painted themselves up for Turisas shows, what did you use? I am looking to an alternative to face paints, which are expensive, especially if I'm covering my whole face, neck and arms. Is...

About the NYC venue change. Irving Plaza's website says that there is a Hawthorne Heights show on 25/11. Also, what if we've already bought tickets for the show when it was at Roseland?
