I have one, if I use the DI it sounds A LOT better than in my profire 2626, but the problem is that even with the gain at minimum, the DIs are WAY too loud, it's still usable but its almost clipping...And this is with passive pickups...So maybe I'd go back I'd take another preamp tbh.

So the only thing left to record on the album of my band Catuvolcus is the acoustic guitars...We recorded them today using a sm7b and a cheap guitar since its the only gear we have, and it doesnt sound really good...So i thought maybe someone on this forum could record the guitars in a booth...

Yeah sure! I think in this song the most evident influence is Amon Amarth while in the other songs the influences are bands like Agalloch, Moonsorrow, Windir, even Alcest in one song.

Yeah I think in french we use the word epic in another way than in english haha, I should have said "Gaul black metal", or just "metal"...Happy you dig the track.

Thanks for the comment! Yeah I recorded/mixed/mastered it and I composed this song although the album is composed 50/50 by me and another guy. I wasn't sure about the style, this song may be more melo death like you said but the rest of the album is definitely black metal. :heh:

Not bad but I think it's a bit too similar to Tool. And the drums sound A LOT like Superior drummer, which is kinda weird.
