Friend of mine let me borrow Slaughter of the Soul (ATG) around '99, I went to their site and found my way to The Haunted site. My life has never been the same!!!

I'd say Dickinson then Halford. Although I think both are great! I lean more toward Bruce's style -- Halford sometimes is too falsetto for me... -IV

my two based on the different styles would have to be: The Haunted - S/T Pantera - Vulgar Display Both albums opened my eyes to the kind of music I need to survive. Additionally, the latest release from both bands were very disappointing, IMO. - Kind of ironic!

I am so disappointed in this album. Although I think there are some killer tunes, overall, it doesn't have that edge that the other albums have. It certainly sounds like they were just going through the motions. I was so hyped after hearing sh*thead on their site, but this is a big downer!
