I wouldn't saturate the master honestly. I'd do it individually on other stuff, because every instrument has different needs.

It's called hum dude. Guitars aren't silent, it's why we have noise gates. This is completely normal, and you didn't need to send back the other guitar. It's because when you aren't touching the strings, the guitar isn't grounded in any way.

110v. I'm sure you could find a different power supply for it for cheap though, this one is actually a relabed rocktron one haha. I had taped it to my power conditioner, and when I took the tape off there was a rocktron label underneath the iSP one.
