Does Joey use saturation?

just wondering Joeys take on saturation. Ive read some engineers will saturate every bus, or individual drums, or the master bus, or just guitars etc....Joey: how do you feel about saturation? any tips? personally i have just been putting some light saturation on the master. anyone who has any success with saturation please share your ideas too !

I occasionally put some saturation on my overheads to give it just a tad more spice ^^ A light saturation on the master could definitely help in some situations too. I would definitely advise to use it sparingly though lol

I wouldn't saturate the master honestly. I'd do it individually on other stuff, because every instrument has different needs.

COOL well i experimented and put a soft sat on the drum bus, bussed the guitar and bass together and a soft sat on that, that a hard sat on the master. check it out, hows it sound https://dl.dropbox.com/u/51222289/INTRO with lead 2.mp3
