Lower Than Atlantis - World Record

This is a damn good album. I'm also entirely in love with mix, the bass sounds enormous. Their previous album "Far Q" also sounds killer. Does anyone know who produce/mixed it?

    Your favorite "WOW" - Riffs

The riff starting at 0:59. Very melodic. Great mix as well.

Thanks dudes. Yeah, I feel like the snare could be way better. I'll def try Joey's Snare 1. I'll also try and throw those DI's and MIDI up during the week!

Of Mice and Men - Of Mice and Men

Yeah, I figured it was tuned or programmed, it just sounds so fat and big. There is so much low end, but it seems controlled and not all over the place.

Of Mice and Men - Of Mice and Men

I can't get over how big the bass sounds on this record. There's so much low end it's not even funny. I've read stuff about how you do the sine wave trick on your bass tracks. Was it the same case for this album? What was used to record the bass, and would you mind sharing some insight on the...

    Anyone here like Lower Definition?

Yeah dude, I have all of their stuff, crazy amazing band. They just released an EP of their demos a few weeks ago, it's really good. However, I don't know know what their situation is now, they've lost alot of members and a prob going to break up. They seem like very dedicated people. I...

    Anyone here like Lower Definition?

I love this band. This is definitely one of my favorite records. Good mix too. I know Kris Crummett (Dance Gavin Dance, It Prevails) produced and mixed it. Anyone know what was used for the guitars and bass? They sound so good.

    It Prevails Cover

Thanks dude! I'll see if I can post them up soon. I used good old Pod Farm for the guitars. And yeah, I love It Prevails! Can't wait for the new album!

    FTFD Cover

Hey guys, here's my attempt at Strange Faces by FTFD. Everything is performed and mixed by myself. Keep in mind, I'm not a vocalist in anyway. This is my first real attempt at singing haha. Guitars are Podfarm, Bass is Studio Devil blended with a distorted signal. Drums are S2.0 with samples on...

    Misery Signals Cover

Hah, thanks guys. Yeah I used the same guitar tone for the leads. I just put a shit load of delay and reverb on them and tried to get as close to the original recording as I could. The guitars were double tracked and I just used the loudness maximizer in Ozone and Gclip for the mastering. Thank...
