I'm thinking of switching from Nuendo to Pro Tools HD as I have the opportunity to get a cheap HD rig with PT 10. Can anybody tell me if it is possible to monitor without latency all the UAD plugins in PT 10? I'm a little bit confused by the various plugin formats and different PT versions.

Did anybody download the full project? I think the difference on the DI of those preamps is quite interesting.

Haven´t been around here for ages I guess... Well, I just did a comparison with some nice preamps on high guitars and even bass. The preamps used were API 3124+, Vintech X73i, Universal Audio 6176 and TL Audio EQ 2. A single SM57 on a MESA 4x12", no EQ. I think I may have forgotten to turn off...

it´s an awesome preamp although a bit dark. usually i´m running mine with a boost of 4,5 db @ 7 k. the 1176 is as you would expect it. there has been enough said about this thing i guess. for vocals and bass this thing kills. i got mine for around 1200€ and i love it.

Just give another company your email adress and you get an extended trial version of our plugins. That is what the newsletter should say. I really like some of their plugins but I hate the way they do their marketing. OUR PLUGINS ARE BETTER THAN ANY ONE ELSE´S! YOU GET EVERYTHING FOR FREE...

how about a used vi console? for 8000 euros you should get one in good condition. these are excellent mixers. if you need something "light" you may get a yamaha ls9 although i wouldn´t buy one personally.

i sold my mcu as well as i´m much faster with mouse/keyboard. now that i own a yamaha 02r96 with the possibility to control 24 faders and other stuff as well i have to say.....i still don´t use it.
