That's a hard one. I don't really think any songs are more difficult to play than others. The thing is that when you make the patterns yourself I don't think they'll ever be hard. But of course some songs will bring more sweat on your forehead than others :)

I recently got a brand new Tama Starclassic Performer B/B kit - it rocks! My previous kit was actually a "beginners kit" - Pearl Export. I have recorded several albums on that one, but in the end it was beginning to fall apart...
