    Cryptopsy And I don't know if it'll be too noodily for you, but Viraemia is crazy good tech death. Sounds kinda like Brain Drill. Cephalic Carnage- A bit on the grind side but still technical and great nonetheless.

    I guess mainly the more common ones, like Mayhem, Burzum, Darkthrone, Windir, Immortal, Dimmu Borgir, etc. I really enjoy Mayhem and Darkthrone's non-black metal work, the rest of it is just meh to me.

    I personally love the fact that they tried to be different and not "kvlt". If there's anything I hate about black metal it's that it all sounds pretty much the same.

    I'm loving Six Feet Under and Cattle Decapitation right now. And there was a time where Jungle Rot was the shit, but now they just aren't that good. And Napalm Death's "Harmony Corruption" was pretty solid.
