Killswitch Engage recently released a new single from their upcoming album, and I'm surprised that I haven't seen a thread on it already tbh!
Adam D mix as far as I can tell, no info on what was used but it was most likely recorded at Zing Studios, engineered by Adam. Guitar is also a lot more...
Didn't spot a thread on it so started my own,
But yeah Trivium have just released a new single, and I really dig it. Sounds very Shogun B side. I also really love the mix too. Sounds more Sneapy than the previous efforts by Colin, but I really don't think it's Andy's work. I don't really know...
Gtrs were:
Ltd mh-1000nt > Maxon Od 8 > 6505+ > Mesa oversized 4x12 (unsure on all details as I didn't amp these)
Chain was pretty simple ITB, Logic EQ, Waves c4. Multi banded the lows, did some notching, and high shelf for air.
Bass was Fender VM Jazz bass with pro steels > Pod farm, logic...
I'll give this a shot over the weekend,
Here's my latest work:

Cheers!
Edit: Is there any way you can post it so I can download all files at the same time? Google Drive won't let me do that
Double edit: I got it!
Thanks man :)
Yeah it's all played, obviously it's had edits but it's not done because it can't be played in reality, it's done just because that's the sound we're going for.
Hey Sneapsters, I just finished my bands debut album, and we've just put out a little teaser for it on SoundCloud. Would love to get some feedback :) Everything was recorded in Logic v8 and X. Used Metric Halo 3 on almost everything. Guitars engineered by Teddyboy, drums edited by JeffTD...
I actually don't like the mix as much as Darkness In The Light, the bass in this sounds pretty non existent compared to that. But maybe it's because it's so present in Darkness that I'm biased.
