I know there are Tabs, but what about...

Is there anything like a songsheet or tab (sorry if I don't have the right term) that is specific to Tommy's vocals? I don't currently play an instrument (I guess in all fairness, nor can I sing like Tommy), but I was just curious if such a thing existed.

    10 year anniversary video!

Awesome...thanks for sharing. I was going to give you some grief over the Vanilla Ice cover, then I realized that I know all the lyrics and it was the only song I'd storm the dance floor to back in the 9th grade! :)

How often do you listen to SW?

It's probably safe to say once a week. There are sometimes it is more, and others where it might be less. They are permanent residents on my mp3 player though!

Vote for 'The Great Escape' as best progressive metal album of 2010-2011

I voted (I think) for SW. I have actually had a chance to listen to several of those and SW's is my favorite. I thought Darkwater's wasn't as strong as their first album; and while I really like Symphony X's newest release, I still think SW wins this one!

    'Backing vocals' appreciation thread

I thought this was interesting, because the first time I noticed it in fact was earlier today!

    Backup Vocals...

Kazar: Thanks so much for the reply, this is exactly what I was looking for. Also thanks for the other thread -- I've obviously not done a lot of perusing through the posts! :) The likelihood of me seeing them live (even if they were to make it to, or near, Omaha, Nebraska) is pretty slim...

    Backup Vocals...

As I was listening to TGE yet again, I was struck by the vocal layers. I find that there is so much going on with all of the instruments, including the voice, which is part of why Seventh Wonder speaks so strongly to me in a musical sense. My question is: Outside of the lead singer's...

Thanks for the info an the link. I may have to check out some of your podcasts!

How did you discover Seventh Wonder?

I know I posted already, but this and sndtrk2life's post are essentially where I was coming from as well. Listening to TGE again. I heard a negative review about Alley Cat, and I love this song. I actually get chills during the chorus, and love that neo-classical guitar solo.

    Seventh Wonder Song Meanings

Wow...this is a thread I am going to need to read, and re-read! :) I love songmeaning discussions, even if I may be the worst person in the world at analyzing the lyrics myself. ("Oh yeah...it must be a bout a cat that lives in the alley....right?" Just kidding!) The music almost always...

    Seventh Wonder Bios

Thanks for all of this information! I find the influences to be very fascinating. I think there is a tendency for anyone to play "Progressive Metal" to be labeled as a Dream Theater clone. Sure Dream Theater played a role, but as we see here, the influences and inspiration go well beyond...

SW´s new drummer! Here he is:

I know I'm way late (although I did just join the forum), but congratulations! This is exciting news and I'm looking forward to the future for Seventh Wonder!

MERCY FALLS - THE STORY (SPOILERS!!!)

I know this is dated, but thanks for this. My biggest question was why the wife allowed the procedure to go forward, or why would she be surprised it didn't work, but I think your explanation on the link above helped me out. (I never took it to the level of whether or not all bone-marrow...

How did you discover Seventh Wonder?

This is my first post and this particular thread seems a good place to start. I'm 35, married, with five kids, and have always been a big fan of music, although classical and rock (in it's many variations) have tended to be the tops on my list. I was a big fan of the 80s glam metal scene...
