I used to hate them until I spent some time properly setting up an edge trem on an Ibanez Jem. When set up correctly there should be no problem.

there's people going crazy on the line 6 forums about the lack of windows 7 drivers for the toneport and the pretty much worthless beta ones available. Mine just about functions but others cant get it to work at all. I'd keep xp and dual boot to be safe.

I got them too as xmas gift. There's depth to the music I listen to through these!

I've had noise using TSE X30 on my DI tracks, thought it was my tracks at first but I tried overloud th1 on them and the noise was not there. Still, doesn't stop me using TSE with a gate.

likewise, used it all the time on my old pc with xp. Not having good experiences with it on windows 7 64bit.

emd, I recently got a dell xps studio 8000 with the i7 860 intel chip and it's a great machine, it leaves my old dual core pc for dead, extremely fast and handles as many plugins as i can throw at it. Was 800 euro.
