Radial X Amp reamping box. Dual output, active reamp device, ground lift, polarity, yadda yadda. I have the original box and AC adapter. 100 shipped. Also, a long shot, but I have a Drum Dial that I've used all of one day in the original box collecting dust. 40 shipped. I also have...

    Sneap and Amon Amarth

I think the mix sounds killer. And as far as the content...It's Amon Amarth...nothing really has changed much with them. IMO it's more a matter of being "used" to how their other stuff sounds. I like the cleaner, smoother guitar tones. Past albums tones have always sounded wierd to me. *shrugs*

The Black Dahlia Murder - first single from "Everblack" streaming

Right, but curious to see if it was a 5150III or something like a kemper copping Fitty tones

The Black Dahlia Murder - first single from "Everblack" streaming

I'm digging the guitar tone myself. The riffs are heavy, but they don't flow too well, IMO. On their own, each section kill, but put it all together as a song and they just are too disjointed. Still looking forward to the album, and I like the mix. Raw and heavy. The bass tone is a bit...

M Audio Profire 2626 for sale

M-Audio Profire 2626 Killer firewire interface This is in pristine condition except the little doors for the ADAT A I/O have come off (I've had optical cables plugged into it almost it's whole life in my studio). The absence of the doors hasn't bothered me or affected the connections in any...

Reamping with Presonus 1818VSL and Radial X-Amp - Need help!

I used to use my X Amp with my Profire2626 without issue, but I'm having trouble getting it to work with my 1818VSL. I have the DI guitars output running out of the 1818VSL on output 5: From there the output goes into the X Amp. From the X Amp output, it goes into the input of my amp...

No firewire = think Im fucked

From what I'm reading on the hardware maintenance manual, it looks like that mini PCI express slot is reserved for the wireless LAN and/or TV card, and probably not something that would allow an easy connection. pg 41.... http://www.manualowl.com/m/Lenovo/IdeaPad-Y570/Manual/192378...

The Rhodes Colossus H100 amp sounds like this- (video)

Kyle Rhodes dabbled as a soundman in his hometown, and my band played a show there last year. Kyle was nice enough to bring the amp out and let me play it for the show and it was awesome. I'd love to own one someday.

Recording a drumkit with triggers for the first time....

I like the Slate samples well enough, but I generally dont use them on their own. Making TCI files is easy and I tend to use samples created from the drummers kit and sometime blend in Slates or others. IMO Trigger is the best/easiest triggering plugin I've used.

Recording a drumkit with triggers for the first time....

If you want trigger signals AND mic signal, wouldn't it be easiest to run the triggers to the brain, output to MIDI into the interface and record that while simultaneously recording the mic signals? And then do what Jeff and others suggests with the MIDI (i.e. send it out to get your tones)...

SM7B vs. SM57 (ahjteam follow up)

I'd be interested to hear a shoot out with an SM7B and a 57 with the transformer removed. I've always heard a 57 with no transformer is a poor mans SM7B. I loooooove my transformerless 57 for screamed vocals. It's a bit lower in gain and smoother than a stock 57.

B-52 AT100 head. Are these as bad ass as everyone says?

LOL, this is the only thread where I've read more positive than negative about these amps. I've heard a few in person and I've always been vastly underwhelmed. And the 2 or 3 people I know/knew that had them, 2 of them have blown/overheated and no longer work. the other guy sold it because it...

Heard 5153, H&K Coreblade, ENGLs Live Last Night... Impressions

I'd blame the users tonal desires/objectives if you thought the 5150III cleans sucked. For me, it has pretty much the best clean channel of any 3 channel high gainer I've ever played.
