ofc you have to record in Mono, an SM57 - like every other microphone that is not stereo - produces a Mono Signal. Get everything right from the beginning and then you'll have a great sound. Turn the amp up loud as hell, that will sound the best... :hotjump:

Hey guys, I have tried some bass strings but none of them gives me the string tension that I want and need. I own an Ibanez SR605 5-string bass which came with Elixir Strings, there was almost no string tension with them - horrible. I then bought the cheap Warwick Red Label Strings (40 - 135)...

The Doubling is far from perfect, but I'm sure nobody will care about that in a live situation :D The sound seems to be pretty good!
