James the Multi-Instrumentalist!!!! You did a great job! Loved the show. BTW, your sound was really good, and all you guys nailed the parts almost perfectly. You do need to get a blond wig to complete the ensemble, however.

I'm going to try to make it up there for this show. I might even be able to talk my elusive wife into this one, since she's still pissed about having to miss Maiden this summer. My plan is to stand right in front of you with my arms crossed, analyzing every solo. No pressure, though. :)

Hey, just wanna add in my praise for the show last night by all concerned. Everyone on the bill kicked maximum ass. After seeing Zero Hour for the first time last night, I have this strange urge to practice guitar for about 22 hours per day... :)

I believe Satriani and Vai asked Jeff Beck to join them on G3 years ago, and he turned them down. Since Vai is busy with the Zappa thing rather than his own band, that would leave Tony MacAlpine free, wouldn't it? I'd love to see Romeo on G3, but he's not enough of a 'name', I fear. :(

Yeah, we're flying ATA to visit my inlaws next month. Guess I'll be sure to check in very early. Wow, sorry you had such a crappy trip--you should've just driven overnight. That's starting to look like a better and better option these days.

:( Geez, maybe next time I can drag my trusty old Akai DPS-12 along. Not many inputs on the mixer section, but if you had a submixer it would do the job.
