Actually I did a little research myself and they are both on Adelaide St. So I will go there now. I wont go to see Opeth tonight, because I have to start to watch my budget now, hehe. And that metal-night sounds cool! I am sure there's already a thread about that so I will check that one out.

SO I just went to Skinny's. But there' the Opeth signing right now. Since I have nothing to sign, I guess I have to wait untill that's finished. Because all I want is to buy a cd. In what street are JB Hi-Fi and Rocking Horse?

SO I'm in Brisbane now, just a few hours. I am staying at Banana Benders Backpackers and it looks good. Now I am heading into the city and look for the record shops and also to do some other stuff that's not metal-related. I am also gonna find out where Opeth's playing, so maybe I will go there...

Oh cool, I wanted to see Dungeon one time, so I will see them in May!!! And that metal-night sounds cool, I think I will come. So I can finally meet some Ozzy metalheads!

Hello, remeber me? I am the dutch guy who started a thread in wich I said I was coming to australie and then asked a couple of metal-questions. Well, I am here now for almost 4 weeks and it's been great so far! Sydney was great and now I am traveling to Brisbane and seeing lots of beautiful...

I heard some Alchemist and it sounds very good. I don't know wich band will be better, Alchemist or Opeth.

Opeth makes great music, but it's hard to discribe what kind. Progressive death metal with 70's influences comes close.

April the 13th I will go to see Opeth in Sydney! I always wanted to see them. I actualy got this date by looking at the website of the australian band Alchemist. So it should be cool to see them too.

I am going to download some dungeon songs now. Let's hear the awesome power of the metal the can create!!!

Oh yeah, Gamma Ray. That's why Vanishing Point sounded so familiar. I will check out some stuff by them then. I will probably like it.

When I am in Sydney, I'll go to Utopia. And when I am in Melbourn, I'll go to Metal Mayhem. I am looking forward to see some of the local bands :)

I do not care that much about the prices. I will only buy new releases of bands that I really are a fan off. If I buy more, my backpack will get to full! Maybe I will go to Melbourn around the time that Helloween releases their album and then from there on I can go to Tasmania.

The Haunted? I actualy don't know much about them, so I'll pass. I would hav loved to see KISS, but I'm not there yet.

I have no idea where in Sydney I will be. The first four nights are aranged by the organization I am flighing with. I also must figure out where I will go from there. We'll see, no worries.
