In my opinion, the song is way too raw and thin sounding. I have nothing against raw recordings... Tsjuder, 1349, old Naglfar, and bands like that have utilized a raw sound but this just sounds a bit too one dimensional. Again, just my opinion.

As a shitty vocalist, I was wondering if someone would like to add some blackened vocals to my two songs (can be heard on www.myspace.com/misanthropemanifesto).

When most of you record, do you get it all right on the first take or do you record in a more fragmented manner? Say you are recording a guitar track. Do most of you record that track in one take or record a section and stop, record another section and stop, etc. Or perhaps you record one take...

the tone suits thrash metal pretty well and so does the treble-ly bass in my opinion. the only complaint is that the blast beats in the end sound pretty fake. the snare doesn't sound too good either during the blast beats (they sound fine in the rest of the song but not during the blast beats)...

Well I've just recorded (quite sloppily) a new song I'm testing out. I'm not sure if I'm happy with the song (both melody-wise and tone-wise) but again, just a test song to help me really find a good tone to work with in the future (thats where ya'll come in). I'm thinking I might need to boost...
