loving the snare on this track.

Just listening on my MacBook Pro speakers here.. but it seems like there's no life to the snare at all. Needs more air on top. Are you using any dampening rings or moongels on the snare head? How does the snare sound in the overhead tracks?

I didn't say Waves plugs wouldn't work, I'm just saying that they can only use up to 4 GB of RAM.

Waves plugs don't have 64-bit compatibility yet, unfortunately. W7+Cubase should be a good bet. Once Waves makes their plugs 64-bit, I'm dropping PT for Cubase in heartbeat.

You're probably moving the transients too far away from the original spot... when you crossfade after this you might be getting some of the original transient with the edited transient. This seems more logical, I don't think it's a computer error...

feels like some phasing issues on the rhythm guitars... idk maybe its my cheesy macbook pro speakers not really digging the way the snare is set. its a really strong sound snare, maybe just a bit too loud. thats preference tho
