    Bands that sound like tool?

    There are some great bands that have been mentioned here, like porcupine tree, katatonia and opeth I love those guys. But if you want something that sounds a little bit more like tool, but still holds a lot of originality, I suggest a band like riverside. They're a great polish progressive band...

    I listened to them early last year and found them very interesting, I really should check them out again. If you like them you might like something along the lines of Devil Doll too.

    While I'm aware of the difference, and it's a good point, I think it's up to you to choose what to stick in, but I guess it's proabaly best to stick to ones with a more clear concept from now on.:) I guess I just wanted to add some of my favourite albums in, maybe.:)

    Hi, I'm David and I'm 16 from Toowoomba, Australia. I first heard Katatonia because of Mikael Akerfeldt being in Brave Murder Day, the first album I got being The Great Cold Distance though, anyway, I've been a big fan ever since.
