Check out the Epiphone Masterbilt series. I was making the same decision as you a year ago and after trying out a ton of acoustic guitars it became my favorite. My old Yamaha still gets some use though but the Epiphone sounds more crisp and has tighter bass.
I have tried a ton of different strings in my lifetime. I have stayed with the DR Dimebag strings for a while. They seems to keep the bright tone a long time and they aren't coated. Most of the coated strings start losing the coating after a while. I never tried the other DR strings, maybe they...
The best part is it sounds like a real amp. But then when version 2.0 comes out, it will sound better.... so that means it didn't sound like a real amp to begin with.
The guitar presets in EZMix sound pretty amazing. I was listening to Accepts "Blood of Nations" album last night and still can't get over the Andy's amazing production on that album. One of my favorite metal albums ever... ever... ever... ever. (read that with some nice reverb and echo in your head)
Selling my Jackson SL2H. It's on eBay, but I'm willing to take offers on here.

I never deal over e-mail. I give my phone number and have them call me. Also on Craigslist the seller usually doesn't get the good part of the deal, it's a buyer's market on Craigslist.
You can go to Guitar Center and ask for an empty guitar box, they usually have a couple and might even have one from a Mark amp.
Otherwise some shipping places will use these foam bags that they pump with foam and it keeps the amp in place.
