Interview with Ian Hill (Judas Priest).

I really like AOR and Lochness was a personal fav. The lyrics are of course silly but I sort of expect a certain amount of silly lyrics from Priest now a days. Looking forward to their next album returning to the classic sound even though I did enjoy Nostradamus.

    Ghost (Swe)

I really like the album although I do feel they are a bit over hyped, the vocals are a bit hard for me to get past at times but overall I love the retro vibe to the whole thing.

    Post your Hauls!

Just got back from the Days of the Doomed fest in Wisconsin so I got the new Apostle of Solitude and the new Argus CD.

    Witch Mountain

Wtich Mountain is a cool band...I remember listening to them when I first got into doom/stoner.

They do...I can't remember the show but those two songs actually have Bob and Lee on them as they are from an early live show. I was very suspicious of the live disc as Ozzy usually re-records his vocals in the studio for his "live" albums, that doesn't seem like the case here but Ozzy sounds...

    Whocares?!

I gotta' say that although I'm a big Sabbath/Iommi fan I kinda' ignored this project at first because I usually don't like one off "super group" type of stuff but the Iommi penned song "Out of Mind" is freakin' awesome! makes me wish this group might do some more stuff together.

I think the Churchill quote (at least I think it was Churchill) "History is written by the victors" applies here, Ozzy or more so probably Sharon has more of a voice and power than Bob or Lee so she has decided to rewrite history to her own benefit.

I've got it, if your a Randy Rhoads era Ozzy fan this is a very cool box. The highlight of the box is probably the DvD. There is about 30 minuetes of never before seen Ozzy/Randy footage. The quality is not the greatest, although the person who filmed it was right up front they had to change...

Ex-BLACK SABBATH Singer Joins Forces With KING DIAMOND Guitarist, Ex-HAMMERFALL Bass

This has lots of potential, I've always liked Martin's voice and his time in Sabbath, I was really disappointed when a few years ago he planned on touring under the band name Headless Cross playing stuff from his time in Sabbath but the tour was cancelled at the last second.

    KK quits Priest!

This is disappointing news as it will feel a bit incomplete without KK on this upcoming tour. I did read an interview with Halford where he says the new album is basically written and that it's a bit of a return to the more straight forward old style, so it sounds like it's not going to be a...

George "Corpse Grinder" Fisher OR Chris Barnes?

I'm not really a big death metal fan but lately I've been listening to Cannibal Corpse and I like Fisher much better than Barnes because he seems to have more variety in his style and he's easier to understand.

    Candlemass

Hey Pate! Good to see you here, I was checking out a thread about the 70,000 tons of metal cruise that my wife and I are going on and saw the candlemass topic so I had to jump in..hehe. Tony Martin was actually in line at one time to possibly sing on the White album. It never happened of...

    Maiden - North America 2010

Great news...will go way out of my way to see them. I hope the new album is as good as A Matter of Life and Death as I really liked that album.

    70000 TONS OF METAL CRUISE

My wife and I signed up for the early registration, when we called a few days ago they said they were getting so many orders their credit card machine was overloading and told us to call back! We are really looking forward to this because it seems like super cool time, tons of great bands. I...
