    Laney IRT60H

What didn't you like about it exactly, if you don't mind me asking? I was looking for a VH100R originally, but couldn't find any. So, all in all, you would say it's well worth the money? I was also reading somewhere that they are confusing as all hell to tweak with the way all of the...

    Zoom gfx8 with impulses

That actually sounds a lot better than I was expecting. Can't really say I've ever heard of the Zoom that you are using, but I'm definitely gonna have to check more into it now. The first one was my favorite.

    Laney IRT60H

I'm pretty 100% on the IRT60H now, haha. If you would be willing, how would you describe the tones you got from it? I've also heard that it's kind of confusing to learn how to tinker with as far as all the controls/knobs go. Is that true?

    Laney IRT60H

Awesome. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on the IRT60H. I haven't heard a bad word about it anywhere. I read on sevenstring.org about a guy who hadn't played his in quite some time and the controls were all crazy, and he plugged it in and still got great tone.

    Laney IRT60H

I just want to preface this by saying that I'm sorry if this particular topic is in the wrong place. Anyhow, in the next two to four weeks (whenever payday comes), I'm going to be buying a new amp. I've been using exclusively software plugs for the past two years, so this will be my first...

    Working on a Guitar Tone

Well, the Soundcloud link that is in my post is the mix/tone that I've gotten thus far. I don't have access to a real amp at the moment, although within the next two to four weeks I'm going to order one of the 60 Watt Laney IRT heads (can't wait!). For that, I used the Positive Grid BIAS desktop...

    Gear Question

So, I just want to preface this by saying that I live hundreds of miles from a store that I would be able to test these out on. With that said, I've been having trouble deciding which amp head I want to get. I'm between two, those two being the Laney IRT-Studio and the IRT60H. Obviously, if...

Toontrack Made Of Metal EZX test (Breaking Benjamin)

I got the Made Of Metal EZX two days ago and I don't really care much for the kicks. I probably just need to tinker with it more, but I can't get the kicks to not sound completely weird in a mix. Besides that, I love it. The snares and the room is amazing. But, that was probably kinda dickish of...

Brutal/Metal/core?/Stuff... (I dunno what genre(s) this falls into)

I think it sounds good! I like the song. I feel that the mix lacks some "oomph" though. Everything else sounds really good though, in my opinion.

    Working on a Guitar Tone

I downloaded the raw tracks for "Unanswered" by Suicide Silence off of a post that I found here (I'll give the link at the end), and I'm working on trying to find a guitar tone to use on some of my personal music. I was wondering if you guys could give me some opinions on the tone? The mix too...

Care to donate some DI's + Backing for my YouTube channel? (Amp demos)

Sorry, I suppose I could have read a little better and I didn't know if you'd already looked through all of those or not. I apologize for that. Regardless, I think this is a good idea. It'd definitely be nice to get some new stuff to work on.

FOR THE CHARIOT/THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN FANS

I think your mix sounds great, but I'm in agreement with akarawd about the guitars. However, that comes down to personal preference and what kind of atmosphere you're trying to set for the song.
