These probably have all been said but I'll say em anyway, Cannibal Corpse, Dimmu Borgir, Machinehead, Slipknot (tho I don't hate em as much as everyone on this forum seems to), Korn, any nu-metal band that sold more then 7 copies of an album really.

I think one of the things you guys are missing is that the question is is it the most "influential" metal album, not the 1st, Kill 'em All is up there because it was listened to by a-lot of people who then made there own bands, therefore it is more influential then Diamond Head for example...

I don't know if any one would be surprised at anything I listen to coz people who know me know my head is all over the place but some would be surprised that i'm going to see an orchestra play a beethoven symphony next week and more surprised that I spent 3 hours the other day playing guitar...
