Caught this tour a few days ago. Striker is the real deal and was the main attraction for me, since I've never seen them yet. Happy to report they are great live. Singer is just as excellent live and the whole band is just having fun and shredding it up.

i am sorry to say it's just solid but not amazing at all like some of the older records.

This is the best the singer has sounded yet. Slick production. Best of genre stuff for sure. I hope they come back to ProgPower sometime.

Solid but not amazing like the best from thr previous album . New singer is fine, but not special the way the old one was.

Yes! Great album . I agree with the Subsignal comparison. I liked this so much, I looked into the older albums especially when I learned Arena's old singer is on one, at least.

well, Lynch may not be the shredder he once was ( I have a feeling he's not actually interested in that style of playing anymore), but the last Lynch Mob tour I saw this year was phenomenal, in no small part due to the super-solid Oni Logan though. Last Lynch Mob album and last George Lynch...

These modern proggers are back with a full length album. Excellent modern-rock-ish sounding prog metal. They have a new singer, so some of the songs are re-recorded versions of the old songs. Great production. I think they own or have use of Sevendust's studio. Unfortunately they took down...

They are based in New York, where Chris lives now, so they do gig every so often in local clubs. They mostly play the new album, Captivity & Devourment, though, which is quite good but I do wish they played some of the clean vocal tracks from other albums. I guess it's not something he wants...

This is an amazing song, especially the vocal arrangements/melodies. Unfortunately, the rest of the songs on the album are not as good. Will probably still go see this tour. Probably sounds awesome live.
