    Drummers

Uhm, Flo Mornier...? Ever heard the None So Vile LP? Graves of the Father he's fucking sick on the drums. Amon Amarth has pretty intense drums as well. Don't forget Behemoth. Their earlier stuff's drums wasen't that great but when Havok got going, on Satanica and Zos Kia Kvltvs etc, it's...

BEHEMOTH - To the eBay bidder who outbid me..

I'm the biggest fucking Behemoth fan of ALL time. The 5-disc box set (Historica) was on ebay for $25, I bid a max of $50, and because I had to work today, some asshole bid $51 and won. If this bidder is on this board, I'd like him to know that I'm currently hunting him down and will...

    "Satanist" desecration!

I'm not sure if someone has answered this already or not but: Marilyn Manson was an officially ordained Priest of the Church of Satan. I believe he left following the death of founder Anton LeVey. And I agree, the man is obviously misinformed. That being said, it's not above some...

    Melodic Death Metal Bands?

I'm into Arch Enemy and Children of Bodom... but I didn't really think they were melodic... I thought they were more power but they still rock. I liked In Flames before songs like Cloud Connected and that other new shit came out... not really down with that. Vital Remains' Dechristianize...

    Melodic Death Metal Bands?

For the most part, I listen to ultra-heavy violence music like Dying Fetus, Cannibal Corpse, Cryptopsy etc. but every now and then I like some melodic death metal. The best I've heard so far is Amon Amarth... they fucking rule. Any one got bands they think can compare?

Best Guitarist / Bassist That Handles Lead Vocals As Well?

GLEN BENTON of DEICIDE and Vital Remains. In my opinion, he takes the cake, hands down.

    What Norse unit is better?

Depend entirely on the goal of my outfit... I'm partial to the Waffen SS Panzer gruppes. They do genocide with sophistication and class... But if it was carnage rather than efficiencey as my goal, I'd have to go with the Celtic berserkers of my native Ireland... giant claymores they...

    Black Metal

What about Burzum and Darkthrone? Can't forget those pioneers... they had as much if not more influence over the advent of black metal as Mayhem and Co. Not that I'm a Varg worshipper or anything... he scares me... but still... give credit where credit is due.

any GOATWHORE fans in the forum?

Dood, some of us like cheese-ball black metal every now and then... especially if it's so cheesy it's scary. I like Goatwhore a lot. Not my favorite black metal band, but one of the best still in existence. and Sadude, nice caption. Deicide fucking rules.

    10 essential black metal albums

Perhaps... maybe a reference to Dante's Inferno? It's always mentioned by bands that are into the black arts too, like scrying and divination and conjuration and such. Bands with Hermetic/Kaos themes are prone to mentioning it too. *still stumped*
