For the most part, I listen to ultra-heavy violence music like Dying Fetus, Cannibal Corpse, Cryptopsy etc. but every now and then I like some melodic death metal. The best I've heard so far is Amon Amarth... they fucking rule. Any one got bands they think can compare?

GLEN BENTON of DEICIDE and Vital Remains. In my opinion, he takes the cake, hands down.

Dood, some of us like cheese-ball black metal every now and then... especially if it's so cheesy it's scary. I like Goatwhore a lot. Not my favorite black metal band, but one of the best still in existence. and Sadude, nice caption. Deicide fucking rules.

Perhaps... maybe a reference to Dante's Inferno? It's always mentioned by bands that are into the black arts too, like scrying and divination and conjuration and such. Bands with Hermetic/Kaos themes are prone to mentioning it too. *still stumped*
