    Sadus on the East Coast

Steve, Since I don't have your email anymore, I guess I'll have to ask this question on your forum. Are the Sadudes planning on hitting the East Coast at all this year or maybe in 09?

When you know Opeth is lost to us...

I think one of the problems is that there are so many different types of Opeth fans, it's impossible to come to a consensus. There are those (like myself) who have been with the band since Orchid, and still would love to hear the old stuff over the newer stuff. But, they have yet to make an...

    Opeth/Tool/Meshuggah

Since when is 27 old? I didn't intend for my response to be analyzed/criticized by everyone else in here, I was merely responding to warsofwinter, who claimed that I obviously didn't know anything about music and rhythm because I though Meshuggah was a bad match for Tool. Maybe the fact that...

    Opeth/Tool/Meshuggah

I was waiting to see how long it would take for someone to react to that statement. I'm not taking anything away from Meshuggah, I loved everything they did up until Chaosphere. But now, instead of having any kind of dynamics, they went to one full album of total in-your-face non-stop riffs...

    Opeth and Tool

Even though I'm sure I'll get ragged on for this, Danny Carrey is a better drummer than Martin. I am a huge fan of both bands, and have seen both of them live. A tour with these 2 together would be amazing...it would certainly make more sense than Tool and Meshuggah!

    Opeth in DC

I thought it sounded better in a lot of the songs w/ the keyboard player doing the vocal harmonies with Mikael. It sounds much more like the album live since he layers his clean vocals so much, and makes the vocals more powerful in that respect as well. On the other hand, while some of his...

    Opeth in DC

I agree, this was my third Opeth show, and it was by far the best. I would have liked to have heard some different stuff from Orchid or Morningrise, but I'm still satisfied w/ what I heard. I can't get over how many people liked Devildriver, one of the most generic, unoriginal, f**king lame...

    Winter NAMM?

If you mean the Cosmosquad show, definitely, if I can find a ride. See you there!

    Winter NAMM?

Just wondering if anyone here, namely Steve himself, are planning on going to the Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, CA. It's runs Jan 16-19.

Last Time TESTAMENT played your city:

I'm willing to bet they've never played here in Nashville, TN. I've only been here 2 years, but this town sucks for anything remotely heavy. Is there anyone out there that can prove me wrong?

    Blackwater Park – Deluxe Edition

How does liking or not liking black metal have anything to do w/ Opeth? They are nowhere near being black metal, and never have been!

    new vintersorg

I know I'm a little late, I just got my copy from Steve yesterday, and all I can say is WOW! This is my first time hearing Vintersorg, but it's awesome! It's nice to hear some different sounding metal, and of course Steve's bass lines are great as usual. So how much did you have to pay V to...
